Vice Principal: Pupil Progress, Curriculum and Standards

Thank you for taking the time to visit this website to find out more about the role of Vice Principal: Pupil Progress, Curriculum and Standards here at Polam Hall School.

This is a key appointment for the school. Our new Vice Principal will greatly enhance our work around data, reporting and evaluation of performance, and will be a catalyst for improvement in the school. We see a real benefit in bringing a fresh perspective and different experiences to our work – someone who can challenge us to think differently, and bring their personal influence to bear on this role. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the school to develop our capacity and confidence in recording and evaluating performance data. The appointed candidate will be part of the school Senior Leadership Team, working with myself and our two other Vice Principals.

Polam Hall has a great deal to offer. There is a strong sense of community in the school and a shared commitment to delivering the best outcomes for our pupils. As well as academic achievement we also have a strong focus on educating the whole person. And though improvement is an absolute priority at present, we are working to deliver this in a supporting and enabling manner, ensuring we bring staff with us, and that we foster a positive working environment with a common sense of purpose and direction.Screen Shot 2018-09-20 at 10.17.53.png

It’s important that you bring an enthusiastic, can-do outlook to this role. There is much to do, and
working across the full age spectrum of our school you’ll have lots of opportunity to develop your
own experience and knowledge. If that sounds like the next step in your career I look forward to receiving your application.
